You’re here because you heard I’ve got the green bean recipe to make you actually love eating your greens. Well, the rumors are true. I do. And I’ll keep this intro short because they’re that good.
I’m vegetarian and I’m on a mission to eat whole foods – especially my vegetables. I’ve never been a fan of veggies, mainly because I usually just cook the canned ones and, therefore, didn’t realize all the amazing possibilities.
Like sautéed garlic green beans. Whodathunk?!
This recipe is so simple, even the most beginners of chefs will have no problem. It’s super cheap (less than $5) and you probably already have two of the ingredients in your pantry.
This recipe is for 1 serving size; because sometimes you’re just not having a dinner party.

what to make with
As you can see from my *very professional and chef-like* photo, I made a little meal for myself! I paired these amazing green beans with a fried cauliflower “steak” and some super creamy mashed potatoes. These would go great with a normal steak, chicken steak, and even turkey steak with a side of potatoes. (Is turkey steak even a thing?!)
They’re even great as a snack – because yes, I’ve made these as a snack before.
final tidbits
It’s my go-to veggie recipe, and I always make sure I have fresh green beans on hand. These are great anytime of year for any occasion, with any meal. And if you are having a dinner party, a charcuterie or cheese board would make a great addition.
Don’t have fresh green beans or garlic on hand? Get what you need delivered straight to your door and get $10 off your first order. I use Instacart when I can’t make it to the store or realize, oops!, I forgot an ingredient!
